| go dawgs |

So Mark Richt came to Columbus yesterday evening to brief all the fans on how the team was doing, answer some questions and sign autographs. I got the opportunity to meet him, take a pic and have him sign one of my hats. While I love the Dawgs and hope they go undefeated, win the SEC Championship and a National Championship this year, I have an even bigger appreciation for a man like Mark Richt. To always be in the spotlight and having to coach in the SEC (hands down the best conference in the nation), he still maintains his integrity and morales as a man of GOD. I happened to catch a one-hour special on Fox Sports South (formerly SportsSouth) last year with Mark Richt and he told his life story and testimony. He talked about how he came to know JESUS because of his good friend, mentor and former coach Bobby Bowden. It was very encouraging to see how excited he was about that moment and how his life changed for the better. But people like him, my Pastor (Bishop Danny Blanton), my Dad and my wife serve the LORD with all their heart whether they are in the eye of the public or in private. And it's then, when nobody is looking, when it matter's most to the LORD. Anyway, I just thought I'd share with you another reason why it's so easy to root for the Georgia Bulldogs ... go Dawgs!
